Junior/senior developer position at Telcordia Technologies
We are looking for a junior or senior developer to join our data science team. You will create dynamic web-based portals, applications, and user interfaces. You will be responsible for taking early stage concepts to create wireframes and refine those wireframes into deployable code. Required:
Ideal candidate would have practical experience with various databases, data analysis, and big data techniques and packages. The person should be self-starter and should be able to work with various open source tools.
- At least 2 years of experiences in developing user interfaces and dynamic web applications
o AngularJS, JavaScript, and Spring framework
o SSO, LDAP tools or open sources
o XTHML, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and AJAX
- Experiences in big data stack – Hadoop, NoSQL, RDBMS
- Experiences in automated build, deploy, testing and virtualization tools (Docker, Jenkins, Maven)
- Knowledge with Google Map APIs
Plus:
- Knowledge in Spark, Neo4j, MongoDB, Impala/Hive, Hbase
- Knowledge in machine learning tools such as R, Python packages, and Spark MLlib
